The strongest storm in ten years is coming

Typhoon Yagi is approaching and continues to gain strength. The south of China is holding its breath.

The Chinese government does not hesitate to evacuate more than 419,000 residents on the Chinese island of Hainan as a precaution.

Typhoon Yagi has already caused deaths and heavy damage in the Philippines and is expected to make landfall in southern China during Friday.

Yagi has developed into a super typhoon with winds of more than 200 kilometers per hour over the South China Sea, according to the Chinese news agency.

The super typhoon is expected in Vietnam on Saturday, and precautions are already being taken there too.
