Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
Layer Ingredients: Pour the fruit pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit filling. Do not stir.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, ensuring it covers as much of the mix as possible.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbly.
Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
